Lucky or Unlucky?

Or rather, to be or not to be.

...

No I haven't died or anything, I've just had a lot on my mind, and well, sometimes Shakespeare knew what he was talking about

    To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die, to sleep,
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache, and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to: 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep;
To sleep, perchance to dream – ay, there's the rub:
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause – there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of disprized love, the law’s delay,
The insolence of office, and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin?

P.S. My 111st post, Lucky or Unlucky?

One of his sonnets?
I do quite enjoy them, partly because the majority of them actually address an unidentified male that Shakepeare had some sort of affection for :P

Afraid Not Rowan, its from Hamlet.

I also really like his sonnets, they're beautiful and REALLY complex. And i know, he wrote to women and men, which is house to a lot of contravercy, although the actual dedication of his entire works of sonnets was to a Mr. W.H. along with other theories on who actually published them and even if Shakespeare wrote them. (i know a lot about his dedication because i studied it haha)

and why are you never online anymore?!

Hi Jack. Life can have so many twist and turns that the concepts of luck are indeed relative. How about a guy who applied for a job at those nuclear reactors in Japan and got turned down? His bad luck is now good luck! How about those people who wanted a ticket for the Titanic's maiden voyage but didn't get one? How about the guy who pursues a beautiful girl and marries her and then finds out a few years later she is a shrew to live with? Don't be so sure about what is good luck or bad luck. Don't be too quick to compare yourself to others. We are privileged indeed to have consciousness to recognise our existence and the universe; every day above ground is extremely good no matter what you perceive as good or bad luck. You have exciting POSSIBILITIES Jack, and you should feel good about that. Hey, my Triumph Street Triple R fired right up today and I had a great ride even though it was cool (15 degrees C). You Brits built a great bike when you came up with this one! (Google it) bfn - Wayne :)(oh yeah, check out this British teen's blog;

Ah, Jack, good to see you back! I love Shakespeare - the man was a genius. And I'm glad you haven't died or anything. You are allowed to have a lot on your mind, and you have good reason.

But I love bare bodkins!

Peace <3
